• Interpretation of specifications, drawings, design briefs and scope of works documents.

• Compiling tender bids for mechanical/HVAC package.

• Full take offs from the drawings, as necessary.

• Have the ability to work on own initiative where necessary.

• Work with our existing team to maximise tender successes.

• Integrate across different departments, as necessary.

• Negotiate with all suppliers/ subcontractors to obtain the best prices.

• Manage the data base to keep all prices and tenders up to date.

• Liaison with Clients, design consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

• Obtaining and evaluating materials, plant, and sub-contractor quotes.

• Compiling all documentation necessary to form tender packages in accordance with Client requirements.

• Review tenders with managers prior to submission.

• Follow up on all tenders.

• Handling of incoming supplier invoices, checking against purchase orders and inputting

• Reconciliation of supplier statements against accounting package

• Details with any queries arising with both internal and external suppliers

• Administrative duties to include filing & taking calls

• Providing general support to the Accounts Team.

• To undertake installation of heat pump central heating systems and any additional plumbing work that may be required
